Does Sajari handle typos and spelling mistakes?

Answer

Yes, Sajari handles typos and spelling mistakes using Fuzzy matching model.

The fuzzy spelling model will build your own personalized dictionary from the content of your collection, so the queries entered are only corrected to relevant terms in your collection.

When you create a Website Search Collection, a default record pipeline is created for you that includes a step to train the spelling model. When your end-users search, they use the default query pipeline which includes a step to run the spelling model, which auto-corrects the queries input before executing a search.

For other search collections, you will need to manually configure the record and query pipeline to train the spelling model.
